Important information about the nature of ketamine-supported facilitation and what it is — and is not.
Last updated: June 1, 2025
Ketamine-supported facilitation is not a substitute for professional medical or psychiatric treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed mental health professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) immediately.
Rebecca Mehta is a ketamine and psilocybin facilitation practitioner. She is not a licensed physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, or other medical professional. The services offered through Windhorse Facilitation — including preparation sessions, facilitated ketamine sessions, and integration support — are not medical treatment.
Ketamine used in sessions offered through Windhorse Facilitation is legally prescribed by a licensed medical physician who is responsible for the medical assessment and prescription of ketamine for each client. Windhorse Facilitation provides preparation, facilitative presence, and integration support — not medical services.
Ketamine-supported facilitation may complement, but does not replace, ongoing mental health care such as psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, or medication management. Clients with active mental health conditions are encouraged to maintain their existing care relationships.
Results vary. Testimonials and client stories shared on this website reflect individual experiences and are not guarantees of outcomes. The effects of ketamine and facilitated sessions differ from person to person based on individual health history, set, setting, and other factors.
Ketamine is not appropriate for everyone. A thorough safety assessment is conducted before any session. Ketamine is generally contraindicated for individuals with certain conditions including uncontrolled hypertension, a personal or family history of psychosis or schizophrenia, active substance use disorder, and others. Full assessment is conducted in collaboration with the prescribing physician.
In the event of a medical emergency during or after a session, emergency services (911) will be contacted immediately. By engaging with Windhorse Facilitation, clients consent to emergency services being called if required.
If you have questions about this disclaimer or about whether ketamine-supported facilitation may be appropriate for you, please request a free consultation.
